Kevin Faller

PCMS Director of Bands

Mr. Faller is the Pulaski County Middle School Director of Bands. He has been the band director at Pulaski Middle School and Assistant Director for the Golden Cougar Marching Band since 2013.

​

Mr. Faller earned his Bachelor of Music degree from James Madison University, with an emphasis in Music Education, in 2009. During his time at James Madison, he performed with the Marching Royal Dukes, JMU Concert and Symphonic Bands, JMU Chamber Orchestra, and the internationally recognized JMU Brass Band. His primary trumpet instructor was Mr. James Kluesner.

While attending JMU, Mr. Faller traveled to perform with the JMU Brass Band on the 2008 tour of England and Wales, as well as the 2008 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with the Marching Royal Dukes.

​

Following earning his degree from James Madison, Mr. Faller attended Radford University and earned his Master of Arts, with an emphasis in conducting, in 2013. His trumpet professor at Radford was Mr. Jeff Kresge.

 

At RU, Mr. Faller was the graduate assistant in charge of directing the Radford University Pep Band. Along with pep band duties, Mr. Faller was the principal trumpet of the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble Section Leader, Musical Theatre Pit Orchestra Director, and lead trumpet for the ballet production of The Nutcracker.

When not teacher, Mr. Faller enjoys spending time at home with his wife, Lauren, his twin daughters, Lorelei and Zelda, and his zoo of pets! Along with spending time with his family, Mr. Faller enjoys playing video games, cooking, and learning new recipes.
